CCTV America: ‘Suriname seeks IMF loan’

The International Monetary Fund has reached a provisional agreement with the South American country of Suriname to loan it $478 million. The deal still needs to approved by the IMF board, which meets in May. The former Dutch colony, which has been independent since 1975, is struggling amid a sharp downturn in commodities prices.
